Software launch that signed users

Launch page, onboarding emails and in-app prompts for a new B2B tool, built around the one job it does best.

The challenge

A capable product with a feature-list homepage. Trial signups stalled because visitors couldn’t see themselves in the copy — every headline described the tool, none described the Tuesday morning it fixed.

The approach

Five user interviews, one ruthless cut: the launch page now opens on the outcome, proves it with a three-step “how it fits your stack” section, and closes every block with a single trial CTA. Features moved below the fold as proof, not pitch.

Deliverables

  • Launch landing page with wireframe notes
  • Four-email trial onboarding sequence
  • Integration one-pagers for the sales team
  • Ad headline bank for launch week

What changed

The page finally answered “what does this do for me?” above the fold. Trial starts picked up in launch month and support tickets asking “does it integrate with…” dropped — the page answered before anyone had to ask.
